NewSouth Financials - Release 2 included:

Release 1 and 2 are now operational.

During the design phase of the project, the Financials team documented UNSW's current Financial functions, reviewed the PeopleSoft Financial application, and designed the new Financial processes.

These new processes were based on the UNSW's future business needs and the best practices found in PeopleSoft software functionality.

The design phase of NewSouth Financials - Release 1 was completed in the first part of September 1998. The implementation phase has also been completed Several important tasks were completed during this time, including future system design, software modification, thorough testing, timely training development and administration, and new system roll-out.
